In Japanese, -san is polite. -sama is deferential. But 殿 — dono — is older and rarer: the address reserved for lords. Not celebrities. Not customers. Lords.

We named the store FANDONO because that's the relationship we wanted with the people we make things for. A fan isn't a wallet attached to a fandom. A fan is the reason any of this exists — the person who watched the arc twelve times, who defends their favourite in the group chat at 2 am, who deserves better than a peeling sticker on drop-shipped acrylic.

FANDONO grew out of a working fabrication studio in Kozhikode, Kerala — a floor of calibrated 3D printers, resin stations and finishing benches that builds engineering prototypes on weekdays.

One day someone printed a katana stand for their own desk. Then a lamp. Then colleagues wanted one, then their friends did. The machines were already world-class; the fandom was already in the building. The store was inevitable.

Everything we sell is made, not sourced. Sculpted by fan artists, printed in small batches, sanded and sealed by hand, checked under a lamp before it's boxed. Batch numbers under every base because we stand behind every unit.

That's also why drops are small and some pieces take days: a 40-hour single-spiral Shenron doesn't care about your restock schedule. We think that's the right trade.
